If you’re at all into health and wellness, you’ve definitely heard of the matcha hype. And let me just tell you, it lives up to its fame.
Matcha is one of the most highly beneficial supplements you can take. With so many insane health benefits and tons of yummy ways to enjoy it, you NEED to hop on the matcha train ASAP.
Today we’re going to talk details on why matcha is so important and why you should be consuming it every day. Not only that, but I’m going to share my favorite Cinnamon Vanilla CBD Matcha Latte recipe. This is honestly what gets me out of bed in the mornings. It is so delicious, and adding the CBD completely calms me down and helps me focus on what I have to do that day. Do we want more on CBD? Let me know in the comments below!
So let’s get into it. If you’re here for the recipe feel free to scroll all the way down and skip the juicy deets, my feelings will not be hurt.
Double Check Your Matcha
Before you read on or scroll down, we need to make sure that you’re using the correct matcha. Your matcha should be vibrant green, organic, and ceremonial grade. It’s important that you’re using the right one. If it’s a dull green, it means that the matcha has oxidized and it will not be as beneficial to you.
I recommend Pique Tea’s matcha. They are the first matcha quadruple toxin screened for heavy metals, pesticides, toxic mold, and radioactive isotopes. Pretty impressive!

Ok- let’s talk matcha.
Health Benefits To the Max
Matcha is loaded with so many incredible health benefits. What sets it apart from your day-to-day green tea is that you’re actually drinking a powdered version of the whole leaf. This means you’re getting WAY more health benefits.
Matcha is packed with health-promoting compounds such as catechin antioxidants, vitamins, fiber, and chlorophyll. So what do all these vitamins and antioxidants do for you?
~ Weight management and healthy metabolism- Drinking matcha on the reg can increase the rate you burn calories from 8-10% to 35-43%! I’m sold. (1)
~ Major mood booster, and promotes focus- L-theanine found in matcha increases serotonin, dopamine, and GABA- the neurotransmitters in your brain responsible for enhancing your mood. (2)
~ Supports heart health- The catechins in matcha have been scientifically shown to support a healthy cardiovascular system. (3)
~ Supports the immune system and liver- The antioxidants and amino acids found in matcha help support our immune system. The high chlorophyll content in matcha supports cellular cleansing, and is huge for liver support! (4)
Let’s Talk Lattes
I have tried many matcha lattes throughout my years. I like to think of myself as a ‘matcha connoisseur,’ if you will. In my personal findings, the best combination is vanilla, cinnamon, and matcha.
Along with getting all of the amazing health benefits from matcha, you’re also incorporating another superfood- cinnamon!
Adding to this perfect latte combo, I throw in some CBD oil to help relax me. I love having my CBD oil right away in the morning to ward off any anxiety and keep calm. I recommend Sunsoil. It’s cinnamon flavored, and super high quality- perfect for lattes!
I also add a scoop of fiber to keep me full throughout the day.
How To Make the Perfect Matcha Latte
~ Milk of choice (I use oat milk, it’s the most creamy)
~ Maple syrup (I use THIS BRAND, because it’s sugar-free)
~ Fiber (optional)
CBD Cinnamon Vanilla Matcha Latte
- 1 glass milk (of your choosing)
- 1 serving matcha
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 serving CBD OPTIONAL
- 1 scoop fiber OPTIONAL
- Heat up your milk of choice, then throw all the ingredients in a blender! I blend for about 45 seconds to get my latte extra frothy.
- If you are using a frother, just throw all the ingredients in and let the frother work its magic.
