Ok, enough chit-chat. Let’s get into building an unstoppable immune system!

Supplements:

Aged Garlic Extract

Aged Garlic is such a powerful tool for building a strong immune system. Many studies have proven the positive effects garlic has on our immune system. One study had 146 healthy volunteers take either garlic supplements or a placebo for three months. The people who took garlic had a 63% lower risk of getting a cold, and for those who did get a cold it was 70% shorter. INSANE!! (source)

I love this brand because the ingredients are clear, plus it’s vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO. It’s also a GMP Certified Facility, and FDA Registered. Not to mention CUTE AF packaging.

Colloidal Silver

Colloidal Silver is a major immune booster. This is a great tool for preventative care. Take before travel days or very busy days that could expose you to illness. Not only is this referred to as “nature’s antibiotic,” but colloidal silver can also help with acne, healing wounds, and can even heal your furry friends.

Take 20mg for women, 50mg for men.

Vitamin C

We’ve all heard how important Vitamin C is for our immune health, but let me tell you- orange juice isn’t going to do that much for you.

In order for Vitamin C to actually have an affect, it’s important to get the right kind. Liposomal Vitamin C is easier for our bodies to absorb, making this supplement far more effective. It’s also fat soluble instead of water soluble, which basically means that you won’t pee it out.

Zinc Lozenges

Zinc is an incredible tool for stopping a virus in its tracks. When you are exposed to sickness, take a lozenge and let it dissolve in your mouth every 2-3 hours.

A study determined that people who took zinc lozenges (80-207 mg per day) reduced the duration of their colds 28-40%. We love to hear it. (source)

It’s important to get zinc that has no additives and no citric acid. These will both make the zinc far less effective, and you won’t experience the amazing benefits of zinc.

Vitamin D3

Did you know that most Americans are deficient in Vitamin D? Not having enough Vitamin D in your body can lead to increased susceptibility to infections and viruses, as well as an increase in the length of sickness.

Vitamin D might just be the most underrated immune support supplement. Whenever I start to feel under the weather, I double my Vitamin D dose until I feel 100% again. This has been such a lifesaver!

I love this brand because it’s GMP Certified, gluten-free, soy-free, and it’s 3rd party tested for quality assurance!
