The Game-Changing Morning Hydration Drink You Need

No one likes that groggy morning feeling. You know what I mean. You wake up, parched, and feel SO thirsty. Did you know that 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated? Big yikes. Dehydration can cause fatigue and brain fog, and can even slow down your metabolism! (1)

A lot of dehydration happens while we’re asleep. So we need to hydrate A LOT in the mornings to catch up. Idk about you, but I’m not a big fan of chugging water right when I wake up. Luckily, I have the hacks of all hacks for you today!

This morning hydration drink is seriously so good. It boosts hydration, improves digestion, boosts your immune system & more!

Ingredients

In this morning drink, we use 4 ingredients. They each have super important health benefits, and together taste super refreshing. Let’s discuss!

Aloe vera

The Perfect Morning Ritual

I love waking up and making this drink right away. It’s beyond hydrating and makes me feel like I’m doing my body a major favor every day.

Just throw all the ingredients in a large cup, top it off with some water, and you’re good to go! You can even make this the night before if you have less time in the mornings.

If you have the time, do some journaling, breath work, or even take this drink to-go on a walk outside every morning. Making some time for yourself every morning is so important, and has personally made my days a lot more positive and productive.

Morning Hydration Drink

This hydrating blend of nutritious ingredients is the perfect way to start your mornings!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Aloe vera
  • 1/2 cup Coconut water
  • 1/2 Squeezed lemon juice
  • Lemon peel
  • 4-6 Mint leaves

Instructions
 

  • Start by washing your lemon well, and peeling off 3-5 pieces.
  • Add mint leaves. I like to slightly muddle the leaves and peels with my metal straw to bring out the flavors more.
  • Squeeze in your lemon juice and add aloe juice and coconut water. Top it off with some water. (I usually just fill my glass the rest of the way up)
  • Enjoy your hydrating drink!
