High-Protein Meal Plan

This is a meal plan I give to my high-intensity athlete clients. It’s so important to nourish your body, especially if you’re active often! There are so many fun and delicious ways of getting protein into our bodies. I have both a vegan meal plan (coming next week!) and a diet-free meal plan that I’m so excited to share with you! This 5-day meal plan includes two delicious breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 3 stunning dinners. I know you’ll love them, so let’s dive in!

Most people know that protein helps create muscle, but it does so much more! Your body uses protein to build and repair tissue, give us energy, keep us full, regulate our hormones, and SO much more! One of the most important parts of this meal plan, especially for anyone trying to bulk up and gain muscle mass, is my post-workout recovery smoothie.

Cherries are the star of this recovery smoothie. They have been shown to boost exercise performance and post-workout recovery, as well as increase your body’s absorption of protein. Not to mention they taste fantastic! Drink this right after a workout to expedite your recovery and optimize your workout.

Breakfast

We’re starting off with an oatmeal recipe and an egg bake that are both PACKED with protein. I love oats because you can make them ahead and grab them on the way to your workout. They’re an easy way to get protein and fiber without even thinking about it. The egg bake is so perfect for meal prepping, and it can even be used as a quick, healthy, mid-day snack.
