Your Chocolate Dream Come True

Who doesn’t love brownies? These chocolaty treats are a classic dessert. I’ve been trying to figure out how to make the perfect healthy brownie FOREVER. Every recipe I came across was either full of sugar or too complicated for a late-night baking session. Not these babies! These brownies are made in one blender (minimal dishes – hell yes) and are made using basic ingredients. I’m obsessed, and I know you will be too.

Healthy AF

Should we talk about health for a sec? These blender brownies are vegan, gluten-free, AND grain-free! You would think that they don’t taste like much given how healthy they are, but that’s not the case! After baking these brownies, even my non-vegan/GF friends were drooling over them and asking for seconds.

These brownies are:

~ Fudgy

~ Thick & hearty

~ Gooey & moist

~ Sooo chocolaty

Ingredients Breakdown:

I know what you’re thinking; “WTF is in these things?” Glad you asked. In this recipe, the main ingredients we use are:

~ Chickpeas (fiber & protein!)

~ SUPER RIPE banana (potassium)

~ Nut butter (I like almond butter, but you can use peanut, or Sunbutter if you have a nut allergy!)

~ Cocoa powder (full of antioxidants)

~ Almond flour (protein & grainless)

~ Maple Syrup (Use this brand for sugar-free)

~ Coconut oil

~ Vanilla

~ Baking powder, baking soda & salt

~ Chocolate chips (I like this brand)

The Method:

These vegan gluten-free brownies could not be easier to make. Just throw all of the wet ingredients in the blender first (that includes the chickpeas & banana) and blend until smooth.

After the wet ingredients are completely blended, add the remaining ingredients to the blender, except the chocolate chips. Blend until the ingredients are thoroughly combined, then stir in the chocolate chips. Don’t blend the chocolate chips.

After that, just pour in a greased pan and throw your heavenly brownies in the oven! If you don’t have this Spatula Scraper for your blender, you 100% NEED. You’ll get so much more from your blender it’s insane.

These brownies are amazing when they’re hot and gooey from the oven, but they’re also equally as phenomenal after they’ve been in the fridge for a bit. They’re so fudgy and satisfying. These brownies make for a great afternoon snack or a late-night treat! Enjoy!

Substitute any nut butter you want! I love using almond and peanut butter, but any will do.
I use my Vitamix for this recipe. If you don’t have one, you can try it in a food processor as well.
I like to add extra chocolate chips to the top. Not needed, but the more chocolate the merrier, ya know?
